Java Developer - JSF/Weblogic - Prague

Java Developer, with experience in JSF and Weblogic, currently needed by a leading Financial Institution based in Prague. The project is a reference data management project built using Java, C++, Oracle Weblogic and running on Linux RedHat. As a database Oracle 11G is used. You will join a team of software engineers and work the client's Reference Data Factory application. You will take part in all phases of the development projects. Other Tasks/responsibilities: Participate to the definition of functional specifications, Design corresponding functional and technical solutions, Implement software components (development and unit tests), Support testers during acceptance tests, Support applications in production.

Required Skills
Experience in the following programming languages: Java (J2EE, Experience with SQL/relational databases, especially Oracle, Good knowledge of the Operating System UNIX/Linux RedHat, 2 - 4 years of experience in software development. Additional Domain & Business Skills: Experience with the JSF framework. Experience with Oracle (BEA) Weblogic Application Server, Experience in large software development projects, Experience in configuration management/versioning tools, Knowledge of the financial or banking business will be a plus, Written and spoken fluency in English is a must.

Location: Prague.

Planned start date 02.01.2013.

This is a long-term project opportunity starting with a 3 month (extendable) contract.
