JAVA DEVELOPER (JAVA/J2EE TECHNOLOGY, SPRING, HIBERNATE, ECLIPSE, XPATH)
The contract is with a Consultancy to be on an assignment at a large European site in Central Brussels as follows:- Tasks:
Development and maintenance of software applications
Development and integration of technological components
Implementation of user requirements.
Prototyping
Elaboration of test programs
Integration with other applications
Writing of technical documentation
Assistance with deployment and configuration of the system
Participation in meetings with the project teams. Working language is English. A very good command of the English language is mandatory.
Specific expertise
Required specific expertise:
o Java technology and J2EE architectures. Java tools and frameworks:
o Spring, Spring MVC, Hibernate. Intellj, Eclipse.
XPath, XForms.
Desirable expertise
Expertise in the following domains would be an asset.
Java tools and frameworks: Groovy, Grails. Spring Webflow, Activiti workflow, ehCache, JPA.
Orbeon forms.
RDBMS and SQL.
Rich user interfaces (Flex, JQuery, or similar).
RUP (Rational Unified Process) or similar methodology.
Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
6 years of combined studies and experience
4 years in specific expertise
