Java Developer, Contract in Paris. English Speaking

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop, integrate and test document application software modules implemented in Java to meet agreed business specifications.
- Perform technical testing and prepare all relevant technical documentation.
- Detect and resolve bugs and incidents of applications developed in the mentioned technology.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

- University or college degree in computer engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics or a related discipline.

CORE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

- Proven experience in application development in Java and JEE (min 5 years).
- Experience developing applications based on JEE, Spring, JavaScript, CSS, XML, XSLT
- Good Knowledge of SQL.
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration (Jenkins preferably) and Maven

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

- Shell Scripting.
- Knowledge of .NET would be a distinct advantage.
- Knowledge of current PC technology, Client Server architecture and 3-tier architecture would be an advantage.
- Good analytical and a problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivation and a good team player.
- Excellent English language skills.
