Java Application Server (JEE) Senior Engineer - with Weblogic

For a global bank based here in Zürich we are looking for a Java/Weblogic specialist to join the team.

THE JOB:

- Build and package the companies internal release of JDK, JRE, Weblogic and iPlanet
- Verify and test the deliverables according the test plan
- Design, engineer and improve the build process and automated component tests
- Support applications using JDK, JRE, Weblogic and iPlanet
- Analyze in depth and document complex technical issues
- Write internal how to's and documentations
- Proactively share findings, bugs and ideas to improve and optimize with team members

WE ARE LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WITH:

- SOLID ADMINISTRATOR/ENGINEERING EXPERIENCE WITH ORACLE WEBLOGIC Application Server
- Experience in Webserver configurations like iPlanet or Apache
- JEE DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE - ability to understand and troubleshoot application code
- Excellent Ant, Maven & Eclipse IDE, subversion skills
- Good communication in English language (both in verbal and written manner)
- Proactive and highly motivated team player

NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT A MUST:

- Oracle Weblogic Scripting Tool (WLST)
- Experience in Banking IT
- Proficient with Solaris/Linux & Windows
- Windows or Unix Shell Scripting skills
- Good experience in rpm and MSI packaging
- Good experience in writing automated tests
- HP QualityCenter, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint knowledge is a plus
- JAVA certifications are a plus
