Java Application Developer - Secret Clearance

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a JAVA APPLICATION DEVELOPER to join our client in Falls Church, Virginia.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Designs software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain analysis.
- Interprets software requirements and design specifications to code, and integrates and tests software components.
- Writes software for on-line access to server information, including common gateway interface scripts.
- Prepares required documentation, including program-level and user-level documentation.
- Builds external interfaces to communications Servers, remote information Servers and browsers.
- Analyzes system information requirements and design specifications using current state-of-the-art information systems such as IDEF, CASE and Object Oriented Design methodologies.
- Performs oversight of integration and testing of individual computer software configuration items (CSCI).
- Designs software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain analysis.
- Interprets software requirements and design specifications to code, and integrates and tests software components including program-level and user-level documentation.
- Supports senior staff in developing and maintaining software Configuration Management (CM) Process and coding standards.
- Participates in the development of test plans and procedures for Computer Software Configuration Items (CSCI's).
- Provides functional guidance, supervision, technical support, training, and quality assurance/quality control to Level I personnel.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or other related computer science or technical discipline.
- Three to five (3-5) years of experience using Java, J2EE, JPA, EJB3, Hibernate, Oracle
- This position requires a minimum of three years of experience as a software engineer; two years of experience working with ADA, SQL, and third/fourth generation languages in the design and implementation of systems and one year of working with database management systems.
- Experience with UNIX, C, C++, Internet application development (HTML, JAVA, CGI), X-Windows, SQL, IDEF, Case Tools preferred.
- At the discretion of the Government, the requirement for a Bachelor's degree may be waived if the individual submitted has met the training/education requirements of Level I, the general experience requirements of Level II and five years of specialized experience.
- At the discretion of the Government, Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or other related computer science or technical discipline may be considered equal to one year of specialized experience and two years of general experience.
- Experience with XHTML, JQquery, Struts, Servlets, Primfaces
