IT Trading Project Manager
(Project, Manager, PMI, PMP, Prince, Trading, Trade, ETRM, Risk)
Edelway SA is a Swiss IT Services Consultancy. We are currently looking for an IT Trading Project Manager to join our international team at our global trading client on a long term basis here in Switzerland. This is a great opportunity to integrate a dynamic and multicultural team working on truly global programs.
This role demands a strong leader who can partner effectively with all levels of the organization. The project manager role is an empowered leader who must drive results, proactively identify and resolve problems, and make the tough decisions. This role is expected to keep up with project management technology, trends and best practices.
THE ROLE
Manage projects planning and follow-up activity
Ensure integration and testing phases
Analyze markets and client needs
Lead infrastructure and application support teams through transition and transformation of IT services in a global environment
Consolidate changes and updates to project plan on a weekly basis and detailed value analysis as required
Assess critical path and impacts of moving milestones and dependencies
Manage risk and issues for the team
Manage project and Internal change requests for the team
Manage quality assurance activities for the team as required
Build relationships with stakeholders that ensure efficient communication
Ability to work in more ambiguous and complex environments with little appreciable direction
Ability to act as a consultant and external spokesman to management of behalf of the project
YOU NEED
Relevant experience within the Commodities Trading Industry (End-client or ETRM Vendor)
5+ years experience in Project Management
Knowledge of Trading Processes and Applications
- MS Project
Strong business acumen, with demonstrated ability to think strategically
Ability to manage multiple concurrent processes while understanding and successfully solving business problems in a customer-focused, consensus-driven environment
Demonstrated ability to lead a cross-functional team of individuals by demonstrating excellent people management skills in the areas of coaching, feedback and development
