IT Test Engineer with Java - English Speaking Contract in Zurich

For a global client based here in Zurich we are looking for a TEST ENGINEER TO CREATE AUTOMATED TESTS FOR JAVA PROGRAMS, SIDE BY SIDE WITH DEVELOPERS, EMBEDDED IN A DEVELOPMENT TEAM.

The Team:

You'll be working in the client orders/market connectivity team near Zürich. Our role is to maintain and evolve the market gateways for client orders.

You have:

- a university degree in IT or a related field
- strong analytical skills to plan and execute test scenarios
- the communication skills to work effectively with internal colleagues from development, business analysis and project management, but mostly development

You are:

- ABLE TO WRITE CODE IN JAVA, AS THIS IS AN AUTOMATED TESTER ROLE
- AN EXPERT USER IN JAVA
- fluent in English, especially technical vocabulary

Ideal candidate:
A developer that loves to test other people's code and can drive software quality up by his actions (including healthy discussions with his developers)

WORK EXPERIENCE: --> Minimum 8 Years
