IT Support Specialist

Client: FORTUNE 100 COMPANY

Duration: 1 year contract starting ASAP

Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Pay: $15 an hour

Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals. Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems. Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups. Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed. Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs. May require an associate's degree or its equivalent. Requires at least 2 - 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Requires 3 years of related work experience

Required Skills:
- Windows XP
- Windows 7
- VBS Scripting knowledge
- HP/Dell hardware repair
- Good troubleshooting skills
- Thinks outside of the box
- Follows established process and procedures to plan, install, test, and implement computer system hardware or software technologies
- Interacts with customer responding to technical questions or request for information
- Troubleshoots systems hardware and software to ensure operational and functional compatibility with interfacing/interacting systems, subsystems, equipment, and computer applications.

Preferred but not required (can get within 90 days of being hired):
- A+ certification. Experience in the following is a PLUS
- PC imaging technologies (Ghost, Powerquest, WinImage, etc)
- Kix Scripting
- VB.NET programming.
