IT Project Manager - Workday

Workday Project Manager, London, Contract, £450 to £500 per day

An experienced Project Manager with Workday implementation experience is required by a leading financial organisation in London. The project is to implement a global HR system designed to deliver services to 5000 people. This role will be focused on managing the IT work stream and will report into the Programme Manager.

You will need to be highly organised and a good communicator and will be responsible for creating, and delivering against, the IT work stream plan. You will also need to identify the dependencies between the project stream and other projects running in the organisation, maintain the risks and issues register, and be responsible for progress tracking and reporting. You will liaise with internal IT staff and external consultants regarding the development of interfaces in and out of the system globally.

Essential skills and experience include:
* Experience of implementing Workday or other cloud-based, Saas solutions
* Experience managing global HR life cycle implementations
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Excellent written skills
* Good negotiating and relationship building skills
* Working with off-shore and in-house development and QA teams
