IT Project Manager/German+english (Contract) - 5396

For an international financial institution in the canton of Bern we are seeking a highly motivated professional to take up the following challenge as a IT Project Manage.

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Leading 3 application development projects in two areas: Mortgage & Risk Management and Covered Bonds.
- Scope definition, resource planning, budget and actuals tracking, milestone tracking, vendor management
- Budget/actuals/forecast management
- Leading a team of total 50 people in Bern and India
- Identification of risks and issues
- Definition of strategies and mitigation actions
- Coordination of IT status reporting for all involved parties (offshore/onshore teams)
- Audit readiness
- Adherence to policies and guidelines
- Ensure punctual delivery
- Stakeholder management in German and English

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering
- 10+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager (Java, Mainframe, Windows)
- Proven track record in the MANAGEMENT OF APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS (MUST)
- PMP certified
- ABILITY TO LEADING MORE MID-LARGE IT PROJECTS PARALLEL
- Very good understanding of business processes in the financial area
- Ability to direct a global resource pool
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Experience in multi-project management
- GERMAN & ENGLISH FLUENT (MUST)

CONTRACT DETAILS

- Start: ASAP
- Duration: 8 months +
- Daily rate: CHF 800 all inclusive
