IT Project Manager for Document Management Rationalization (m/f/d)

MY DUTIES:

- Serve as Project Manager for the Document Management Rationalization project
- Optimize, rationalize and secure customer's document management system (currently there are two different instances of Documentum in-house, which are running an outdated version of the software)
- The goal is to get to one single instance, hosted on AWS, running the latest version of the Documentum software
- By upgrading to the latest version of Documentum, reduce vulnerabilities as well as gain access to new features of the product by moving both application and data to the AWS environment
- Finally, by merging 2 Documentum platforms in a single one and retiring the on premise installations, reduce the effort needed to maintain the platform
- Project requirements: System upgrades, Data migration, System unification, System retirement, Cloud migration
- Provide a simplified document and archival process
- Serve as PM to lead the successful delivery of the assigned project in a dynamic environment that embraces change
- Manage the project lifecycle according to the project management approach while meeting all governance requirements
- Effectively manage a cross-organizational project team and facilitate collaborative decision making while focusing on project
- Follow internal processes for project approval, delivery, tracking and reporting
- Actively manage risks, issues and other conflicts, promptly escalating as needed

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

- Profound experience in a project delivery role accountable for business outcomes
- Formal training in project management methodologies
- Professional certification strongly preferred (PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Master)
- Experience with use of agile and adaptive project management approaches
- Basic skills in the use of project execution software (e.g., Jira, MS Planner, Planview, etc.)
- Experience in leading project teams of technical, scientific and business associates
- Experience in implementing IT solutions, platforms and infrastructure
- Experience in OpenText Documentum platform
- Experience in document and records management (IP, scientific)
- Experience in migrating on premise systems to AWS
