For our client, a pharmaceutical company in Basel, we are looking for a:

IT BUSINESS ANALYST - CLINICAL TRIALS

BACKGROUND:

Our client is looking for a Senior Business Analyst in the Basel based Office for Technology and Information (OTI). Within the group Business Capability Managing (BCM) you will be working with representatives of the Pharma Development and IT Functions to strategically manage and improve data, information and systems supporting the needs of everyone in PD. Your objective will be to perform analytical and conceptual activities on selected initiatives, develop business cases and process guidelines in alignment with business and IT stakeholders.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide process and subject matter expertise and apply industry best practice for technology & process improvement initiatives in the area of Demand & Change Management, Identity & Access Management and User Support
- Translate subject matter expertise into concise and clear communication understood by technical and non-technical leaders and users
- Take over the Business Lead position for selected initiatives
- Identify opportunities to improve business systems management practices in alignment with stakeholders in Business and IT
- Liaise with the PD Business Functions and Informatics and lead the development phase of initiatives, ie Business Case, Analysis, Guidelines, and Recommendations

MUST HAVES:
- 7 years of experience as Business Analyst
- Very good business knowledge in the area of Clinical Trials/Studies and overall Clinical Development
- IT and industry best practice knowledge (Support Process, Tools, Configuration/Customization, ITIL, etc.)
- Broad knowledge of industry best practice in business systems management, with focus on the topics Demand & Change Management, Identity & Access Management and User Support
- Experience in regulated environments (GxP, GAMP, 21 CFR Part 11)
- Project Management skills (planning of activities and communication with stakeholders)
- Document writing and process documentation (Guideline/SOP level)
- Fluent in English

NICE TO HAVES:

+++ Certifications are a plus: ITIL, Business Requirements Engineering (IREB), PMI, SCRUM, Six Sigma
++ German is a plus

START DATE: 30.04.2018 (LATEST 21.05.2018)
DURATION: 6 MONTHS + POSSIBLE EXTENSION
WORK LOCATION: BASEL
WORKLOAD: 60%
