IOS Application Development Engineer

Our client is an inventive research and development company that designs and engineers high-profile, portable, hand-held consumer electronics products, including e-readers and tablets. Many of their applications run on a range of mobile platforms including iPhone, Blackberry, Android, Windows Mobile and WebOS.

Currently the Digital Products team is looking for a proactive, highly motivated IOS APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER with 5+ years' experience, to share his/her expertise in application and/or framework development. Along with excellent skills in object-oriented software design and programming, you are expected to have real world experience optimizing the size and performance of applications and frameworks. You will be responsible for implementing new features that involves both UI and non-UI work.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent with 5+ years industry experience
- 3 - 5 years hands on experience with iOS SDK/Objective-C and/or Cocoa Framework/Xcode development and capable of architecting, designing, developing and testing complex applications for iPhone and iPad devices
- Strong OO design and programming skills in Objective-C
- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, written and verbal communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with CPU/memory profiling
- Experience with Linux
