I am looking to hire a Integrated Logistics Manager for our Defense sector client

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Force Protection Delivery Team (FP DT), which is part of the ISTAR Operating Centre, is responsible for the delivery of Force Protection Electronic Countermeasures (FP ECM) to protect mounted and dismounted soldiers from the threat of Remote Controlled Improvised Explosive Devices (RCIEDs). The team are looking to recruit an Integrated Logistic Support Manager (ILSM) to work in the support team in delivering tailored ILS for all FP DT ECM projects to ensure that the most operationally and cost effective support solutions are delivered.

REQUIRED

- The developing and delivering ILS Policy and Process for the FP DT, championing the effective application of ILS to projects.
- Developing and evolving support requirements in support of into core and future capability.
- Regular engagement with industry providing oversight of the ILS activities undertaken by contractors to ensure that the project support requirements are achieved.
- Drafting, maintaining and progressing ILS documentation in support of the provision of logistic support proposals and activity by industry.
- Deliver aspects of the FP ECM Sustain Assurance Process to the relevant authorities and auditors.
- Liaise with FP DT Project Managers and in service support managers to ensure the required DLOD activities are delivered at all phases of the CADMID process.
- Provide the Support' input to the FP ECM PM's TLMPs.
- Deputising in absence of the FP ILSM.
