Instructional Designer

A Fortune 500 energy company is currently seeking 2 Training Instructors (one with an Electrical background, and one with I&C experience) with a strong background in nuclear training at the Robinson Nuclear Plant in Hartsville, SC. These are CONTRACT positions expected to last one year, with the possibility of extension. Per diem will be available candidates who qualify.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Ensuring that the Electrical / I&C Maintenance Training Program is administered in accordance with the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) process
- Ensuring quality lesson materials, student handouts, and qualification checkout cards are developed and maintained
- Development and maintenance of training materials to include lesson plans, laboratory exercises, exam banks, task and needs analysis, and PowerPoint presentations
- Participate and support training assessments, plant performance improvements, and shared resource program

REQUIREMENTS

- Must be able to obtain/maintain an instructor certification and technical qualifications
- Strong background in nuclear training (concentration in Electrical / I&C)
