JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Will be uploading data to spreadsheets using macros and templates and verifying quality and accuracy of data.
- Maintains the Procurement Categorization Code Management database system and is responsible for the integrity of the data
- Performing routine audits of the data in the database
- Adding, removing, or updating data in the database
- Review data from technical experts to ensure accuracy before submission
- Assist in developing necessary policies and processes to ensure data is complete, accurate, and submitted to the database in a timely manner
- Work closely with the technical team to ensure functional requirements translate completely and correctly into database
- Prepare reports and ad hoc queries as required and requested for various operations
- Mine current data sources to identify potential issues, as well as determine which data source may be causing unexpected results in the output
- Develops reports as necessary - Business Objects and/or Tableau
- Liaison between Technical experts and IS Specialist

SKILLS:

QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience is highly desirable.
- 2+ years of experience in auto industry preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced level of proficiency with SQL, SSIS, SSAS (OLAP), SSRS, DB2 Business Objects/Cognos Ad hoc Reporting is highly desirable
- 2+ Data Warehousing experience (familiarity with dimensional models)
- Excellent communications skills; ability to work with technical and non-technical teams and business users
- Experience in a Microsoft environment a plus.
- Experience in Business Intelligence analysis a plus
- Experience in business, data and/or finance analysis, and reporting with a solid understanding of data storage structures
- Strong communication, time/project management, problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills required
- Blueprint reading is a plus
- Experience with Tableau is highly desirable
- Must have an expert understanding of writing Macros in Excel (2+ years experience)
