This role for a ICES Project Support Officer has been released on a temporary basis initially for 3 months. This post, located within the Strategy, Commissioning and Supply Division of Adult Social Care, has responsibilities for integrated working across health and social care. To support the Commissioning Manager (ICES) to undertake a range of commissioning activities for the Integrated Community Equipment and Minor Adaptation Services.

KEY TASKS

* Support a range of commissioning activities for existing and new services by providing project support.
* Provide support to develop a series of robust evaluation tools to evaluate the effect of commissioned services for example, extracting, manipulating and analysing performance data to assist in the development of new services.
* To be responsible for supporting and co-ordinating the development of projects, for example setting up working groups, minuting meetings, and producing project documentation in regard to briefs, plans, timetables, and progress reports.
* Maintain systems as required to plan, track, monitor and report on each project including risk and issue management.
* Working in a complex environment coordinate activities between a wide range of internal and external stakeholders in the delivery of projects and services. External stakeholders may include service users and their families, service providers, Adult Social Care and NHS practitioners District and Borough Councils, and others who may be involved in these services.
* Assist in the transition and set up of new services identifying potential changes to business and payment processes, working closely with the Business Manager (ICES) to prepare and support implementation of new processes.
* To work as part of the ICES Commissioning Team working closely with team members, to support the overall objectives and functions of the team. This will involve assisting with any of the agreed team priorities and supporting day to day work activities.

You should match the following criteria:

* Project and process planning
* Ability to manipulate data and produce activity and trend reports
* Agenda planning and minuting meetings
* Experience of working in a complex environment with a range of stakeholders
* Writing and editing reports.
* Data analysis , constructing reports
* Experience of working on projects
* Full driving licence or ability to meet the travel requirements of the post
