IBM Oracle Infrastructure Consultant - Project Lead - Project Manager

We are looking for an IBM Oracle Infrastructure Consultant - Project Lead - Project Manager - WebSphere, MQ, Tuxedo - long term 4 year programme of work

The role is to drive a Europe wide infrastructure project, not as the pure project Manager but as someone who coordinates all the efforts of internal and external contractors and all those involved in delivery.

GENERIC TASK DESCRIPTION:

- To assist this large European Agency in the follow up and co-ordination of Technical related matters, acting as a facilitator to converge all efforts towards the project's objectives;
- To review the quality and conformance of the technical deliverables (specification, software, documentation) and services;
- To follow up of the Operations;
- To issue task specifications;
- To enforce timetable and planning;
- To clarify issues and prevent potential problems;
- On a technical level, to coordinate and verify the work of all thise delivering

SYSTEMS TASK DESCRIPTION:

- To assist the project management in the "Risk
- To follow upon infrastructure and Middleware projects;
- To foster technical contacts between project actors;
- To review technical design deliverables
- To produce review and de-briefing reports.

EXPERIENCE AND CAPACITY REQUIRED:

- Senior profile: must have minimum of 6 to 10 years recent experience and an appropriate knowledge of the current state of the art technical evolution;
- Familiarity with IT projects
- Appropriate experience in at least 2 of the following domains on large projects: system analysis/design, system development, system specification, development life cycle, software testing, infrastructure and Middleware, operations, telecommunications networking and quality assurance;
- Good communication skills, team worker, rapid self-starting capability and ability to work autonomously are mandatory; quality oriented, pragmatic while methodical.
- Additional desirable assets: experience as a technical writer.
