IBM Message Broker Consultant

Position Title: IBM Message Broker Developer
Location: Pittsburgh
Experience: 4-6 Years IBM Message Broker Development Experience

Description of Duties/Responsibilities
Strong experience in developing interfaces using IBM Message Broker V7.0
Application Design to understand business needs
Developing, designing message flows
Thorough understanding the MOM (Message oriented Middleware) based Architectures and Integrating with Business Process driven Applications.
Hands-on experience in designing the Messaging systems using WebSphere Message Broker Toolkit
Proven Hands-on experience in building Java Web Services with End points binding based on XML over MQ
Experience in building applications with heavy message distribution channel based Architectures.
Deep Understanding of Message Broker from Application Developer standpoint.
Good Understanding of WebSphere MQ concepts
Basic understanding of Infrastructure related requirements for Message Broker
Experience with using Web Services in MB
Experience with working with Message Sets/WSDLs/SOAP nodes
Experience with some of the Message Broker EIS nodes (SAP, Siebel etc)
Experience with creating and troubleshooting message flows

Technical Skills
- IBM Message Broker V7.0

o extensive hands on development experience
o IBM Message Broker Administer
o Maintain and deploy WebSphere Message Broker V7.0
o Perform Problem determination tasks on WebSphere Message Broker V7.0
o Experience with SVN Repository
- Indepth knowledge of JAVA, XML, WSDL,SOAP, JMS, HTTP and SSL
- Knowledge of IBM Message Broker integration with SAP systems
- Knowledge of IBM WebSphere MQ
- Knowledge on Linux OS
- Have some experience in MQSI commands related to Message Broker
- Analyze, troubleshoot and fix performance, deployment or systemic issues with enterprise software applications built on WebSphere Commerce or other
- Environment: IBM Message Broker Toolkit, WebSphere Transformation Extender, IBM MQSeries
- Knowledge of SAP Idoc processing

Other Position Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or related field, plus 4-6 years applicable business experience
- Well organized, results oriented and able to tackle difficult problems with minimum supervision
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work within cross-functional teams
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and trouble-shooting skills with the ability to recommend alternate solutions and accurate estimates
- Ability to execute assignments of medium to high complexity without being given complete details on the required solution
- Ability to perform comprehensive unit and integration testing with limited supervision
