IT Test Coordinator

Whitehall Resource are looking for an IT Test Coordinator to based in Amsterdam, Netherlands on a contract basis. Our client is now looking for the right person to fill a Test Coordinator position in the IT Test Competence Centre

Responsibilities

- The Test Coordinator's primary responsibility is safeguarding the agreed level of quality of the production systems by ensuring that the appropriate test levels and types are executed. This could mean, but is not limited to, regression, non-functional and user acceptance testing.
- Ensure test scripts are written for all the risk areas. Support and direct a testing team during the tests. Set up test approaches and test plans on a basic level.
- Evaluate and make reports about the tests.
- Advise the project manager and/or the system manager and principal about their respective release, thereby supporting them in taking the responsibility for the quality of the production systems.
- Contribute to the management of the test ware environments and test library (ie functional and non-functional test scripts).
- Contribute to improve the productivity and quality by ensuring that the tests carried out are complete and of agreed quality

Must haves

- Relevant academic degree
- Several years of experience within IT
- Substantive knowledge of one or more specialised fields
- Basic knowledge and experience in applying test methods, preferably qualified in ISTQB or TMap
- Basic knowledge in the Test Managing Tool HP ALM
- Basic knowledge of the ITIL processes
- You are fluent in English verbal and written
