Projektbeschreibung

The role will be located initially in Swindon then located around the port of Construction/Operation (TBD) area during the offshore construction period. The HSE&S Co-ordinator will be responsible for implementing the HSE&S policies at all levels within the organization, assuring the safety of people, assets, operations, security and environment through implementation of management systems complying with client's and UK/International standards. The HSE&S Co-ordinator will also be maintaining compliance with all Legal/Group requirements ensuring that all areas of responsibility are adherent to current regulatory developments.

Principal Accountabilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Maintaining and improving HSE&S performance through loss control objectives.
- Development, implementation and maintenance of the HSE&S management system
- Improving the safety culture across the organization
- Management of all project HSE&S activities including auditing as per ISO and OHSAS Standards and safety engineering functions in respect of design/construction/operation.
- Supporting the HSE&S manager in all aspects of HSE&S activities
- HSE&S responsibility in the absence of the HSE&S Manager assumes

Knowledge and Skills:

Essential:
- NEBOSH Certificate preferably NEBOSH Diploma or working towards
- Experience of implementing HSE plans, procedures
- Safety Engineering knowledge of design, construction, operations and maintenance
- Excellent knowledge of HSE working methods and previous reporting experience
- Trained to UK/EU/International Standards and ISO 14001/18001
- Previous experience as a HSE&S Coordinator and/or experience both in a safety role and in a safety management role within the Offshore Renewables sector.
- Full understanding of HSE management principles and their application.
- Full understanding of UK legislation including CDM
- Working knowledge of all relevant HSE regulations, procedures and instructions
- Ability to make quick decisions under pressure
- Team worker and self - motivator.
- Good personal, diplomatic, supervisory, written and presentational skills
- Able to work in a project environment at company or contractor locations to bring HSE expertise to designated work areas
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Desirable:
- Good understanding of the safety issues of onshore construction and offshore wind farm construction including associated wind turbine legislation.
