Thales UK is looking for an Administrator to join the HR Shared Services Team in Crawley on a fixed term contract for 12 months.
The role requires successful candidates to have the ability to communicate confidently with staff at all levels, must be a good team player who is flexible and able to multi task.
Previous Customer Service experience and a high degree of accuracy are essential in this role.

Primary Purpose of the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual to join the HR Shared Service Centre (HRSSC) that currently provides HR Transactional and Administrative support to our business.
This is a vital role that will continue to provide efficient, accurate and timely customer service within the HRSSC, that will require and making appropriate use of technology including PSE, telephony systems, electronic records, management systems and the Intranet.
The key focus is to manage all aspects of customer contract and administration/transactions through email, telephone an face-to-face enquiries in accordance with operating protocols and Service Level Agreements (SLA's).

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
Support the completion of transactional/administrative processes across the full range of HR activities; (Vacancy requisitions, Starters and on-boarding, Employee Life Cycle, Sickness, Leavers, HRIS), ensuring that PSE entry, changes and updates are accurate and timely.

Ensure that all requests that come in to the HRSSC are logged, the correct action taken and customers kept informed

Assist all customers by providing a positive, friendly and professional service, ensuring that all enquiries are dealt with in an efficient and effective manner

Provide management information (MI) reports as required

Work with the HRSSC Manager and HRSSC Team Leader to develop a customer focused administrative/transactional function which reflects an improvement orientated service in line with SLA's and KPI's

Ensure that MI reporting are produced on a range of topics such as sickness absence, turnover etc
Skills:

Essential
Excellent customer services skills

Understanding or willingness to learn fundamentals of the DPA

Strong team player - flexible and adaptable

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

GCSE educated (or equivalent)
Experience:

Essential
Experience of working in a customer focussed environment, ideally working to SLA's

In depth knowledge of transactional processes (preferably gained in a HR environment) to enable interpretation for policy and guidance to customers

Ability to balance demands and priorities

Ability to complete tasks requiring a high degree of attention to detail

Basic level experience of word, excel and outlook

Track record of working to deadlines
