HR MANAGER/CYPRIOT LAW REQUIRED FOR A LEADING GLOBAL DEFENCE COMPANY BASED IN HURN, BOURNEMOUTH. THE CANDIDATE WOULD BE REQUIRED TO WORK ALMOST FULL TIME HOURS FOR 6 WEEKS AND THEN PART TIME FOR A FURTHER 6 MONTHS. FLEXIBLE WORKING HOURS CAN BE ARRANGED. THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST BE ABLE TO OBTAIN UK SC CLEARANCE AND HAVE AN EXTENSIVE KNOWLEDGE OF CYPRIOT LAW.

KEY DUTIES:

. Develop and maintain a close working relationship with the Bid Director, working as an integral member of the core bid team.

. Work closely with the Head of HR major bids to ensure alignment of the solution for Cyprus with the overarching UK solution.

. Provide advice and guidance on matters of Cypriot employment law, policies and practice, including pension provision and employer costs.

. Contribute to and challenge the Business Solution Design as it impacts on the people solution for the Cyprus opportunity, ensuring it is compelling, competitive and offers a technically compliant solution at the lowest possible cost.

. Act as a core member of the Customer engagement team and the HR Representative during customer dialogue and negotiation

. Identify and incorporate lessons learnt into templates and future bids

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

. Senior HR Background

. Extensive Employment law knowledge

. Knowledge of the Cypriot employment law system
