*HR BUSINESS PARTNER - 4 MONTHS - PETERHEAD - £200-£300PD.*

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified and experienced HR BUSINESS PARTNER to join our HR management team based in PETERHEAD FOR AN INITIAL 4 MONTH CONTRACT. The successful candidate will provide expert HR service and support to the HR Director and be part of the establishment senior management team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- An integral part of the Senior Management Team, the post holders will contribute to the strategic delivery of the Mission Statement and vision.
- Support Managers using a business partnering approach in the management of staff casework and the promotion of positive employee relations.
- Effectively manage the establishment HR Team, analyse and deliver HR information in accordance with national and local requirements and policies, whilst dealing with day to day correspondence/enquiries.
- Ensure that all recruitment practices carried out comply with Recruitment Principles, Recruitment Guidelines and legislative standards.
- Additionally, attendance at recruitment and selection boards both locally and nationally will be required.
- Participate in absence or Conduct Appeal Boards and represent at Employment Tribunals.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Member of CIPD at graduate level or above. (Essential)

EXPERIENCE

- Appropriate range of experience at HR Manager level. (Essential)
- Experience of managing people including unacceptable behaviours and generating positive attitudes in staff whilst managing change. (Essential)

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

- Comprehensive knowledge of UK and European Union employment law, case law and code of practice, with experience of working within a unionised environment. (Essential)
- Ability to assess and review information and recognise potential issues using project management skills, techniques and methodology to find effective solutions to complex problems. (Essential)
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral with the ability to vary style to ensure mutual understanding. (Essential)
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of contacts and positively influence others to achieve desired results. (Essential)
