HR BUSINESS PARTNER IS Required for a contract position in NEWCASTLE, LANCASTER HOUSE . Sopra Steria Recruitment, working in partnership with Major PUBLIC-SECTOR clients in UK we are recruiting HR BUSINESS PARTNER for 4month initial contract with possible extensions.

Working as the HR Business Partner (HRBP) with Senior Leaders, HRBPs are accountable for the development, implementation and management of a range of HR interventions required to achieve business objectives; providing a bridge between HR strategy and the business and offering HR insight and input into the development of business strategy and the delivery of Network Transformation.

This role will require candidates with a proven Experience and responsible for:

As one of a small team of HR Business Partners in the Marine Cluster, the postholder will be responsible for supporting Directors and other key senior stakeholders in building organisational effectiveness and improved capability in line with CS Reform and Network Transformation priorities across Client by:

- Using appropriate Organisational Design & Development approaches and HR professional knowledge to help Directors and other key senior stakeholders to proactively plan, advise and support the management of change, its impact on organisational structures, people and working practices to enable improved business performance
- Supporting the development of organisational capability within Marine including the delivery of improvements in key people priority areas
- Contributing to Network Transformation and especially the Network HR Project as directed by the Head of Function
- Providing input and challenge and ensuring the people agenda is given due consideration in setting direction and developing business strategy
- Ensuring effective workforce planning and forecasting strategy is in place to secure the availability of the right people with the right skills to the right roles whilst continuing to optimise productivity and efficiency.
- Facilitating constructive relationships with recognised Trades Unions
- Building strong working relationships with HR Expert Services (and the wider HR function where appropriate) to ensure the delivery of flexible, professional strategic and operational HR services in an efficient and cost effective way
- Taking the leading intelligent client role for specific HR Expert and Shared Services as directed by the Head of Function
