Excellent opportunity for an experience HR professional to join my public sector client in Bristol on an interim basis until May 2016.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

Experience of work as a change agent, proactively driving and supporting organisational change and delivering improvement in performance and results

Experience of coaching and consulting at a senior level

Chartered membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) or actively working towards this

KEY TASKS

To provide strategic HR advice, solutions and support to directors and heads of service in specified business areas to enable the delivery of business objectives. To lead HR projects across specified business areas which help meet business needs

To lead the development and prioritisation of people plans and solutions which help meet strategic goals in specific business areas, working with the senior management team (director and heads of service)

To ensure successful implementation of people plans and solutions within their business areas, liaising with business leads, the HR local centre of expertise and other colleagues as needed

To advise on organisational design, structures and roles which meet the current and future needs of specific business areas and support implementation of changes

To identify and implement appropriate talent and resourcing strategies to deliver the right people at the right time with the right skills

Working with business leads, to plan, advise and support the implementation of change in their business areas, including its impact on people and working practices, to enable improved business performance

To advise on organisation culture, values and working environment and facilitate changes in order to enhance organisation performance and flexibility

In line with PINS employee relations framework, to support business leads on employee relations issues for customer groups

To support business leads in monitoring and developing employee engagement, including supporting the achievement of goals set following the annual Staff Engagement Survey
