Our major Energy provider requires a HR Business Partner to work on a key business objective which is Smart Metering. This is the creation of a new metering business and will involve the transition of the existing Legacy Metering workforce (c: 800 personnel), plus significant recruitment for peak (2016/17).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- You will be responsible for managing the organisational and culture change for the Smart Metering Programme
- You will communicate via GPRS to provide meter readings, customers will have in-home displays to monitor their energy consumption - so the change will bring more accuracy to customers billing, reduce the opportunity to tamper or steal with gas/electricity and bring about more energy efficiency
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Proven professional experience as an HR Business Partner ideally within a major Oil, Gas, Energy provider
- Significant Organisational and Change experience including the management and delivery of individual consultation, redundancy and transition of employees to new roles
- Experience undertaking change projects involving 100's of employees
- Experience of working within a heavily unionised environment is ideal
- Stakeholder management and ability to influence at a senior level
- Willingness to get stuck in and be hands on as required - Basic project management skills (to know what do I need, what am I going to do with the info once I have it & how to plan/implement)
- Experience of communication & engagement (on mass to remote field teams)
