HR Business Partner

I am looking to hire a HR Business Partner for our public sector client

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Operating as a member of senior business management team(s), engaging senior leaders in improving the delivery of business objectives and driving up employee engagement through appropriate HR and OD interventions.
- Establishing a regular workforce planning routine with senior leaders to plan and manage the effective use of resources to meet current and future operational business needs, focusing on both workforce planning management information and capability development.
- Working with senior leaders/teams to develop appropriate organisational structures and implement supporting resourcing/talent strategies to achieve the correct workforce numbers with the right skills.
- Supporting the adoption of a performance driven culture and guiding senior leaders/teams in the development of the capacity, capability and competence of their people to meet current and future business needs.
- Coaching senior leaders and managers with the aim of enhancing their leadership capabilities and their key role in developing talent.
- Providing expert HR guidance & advice to senior leaders/teams on people issues, ensuring legal compliance, in accordance with HMT policy, whilst striving to deliver best HR practice.
- Ensuring the successful development and implementation of professional people management policies, capabilities and practices within business units.
- Acting as the intelligent customer, providing business intelligence/feedback to the wider HR function and commissioning services from HR service providers

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:

- Previous HR Business Partner experience.
- A range of experience within the HR profession.
- A track record of building credibility with senior leaders.
- MCIPD qualification
