My Bristol based client is looking for a HR Business Consultant/Talent Management HR Business Consultant, this role will initially be 6 months.
My client is an Executive Agency of the Department for Transport and follows a group HR model with expert services being provided centrally and business partnering activity being undertaken within the agency. My client is undergoing a significant period of change, transforming its operational delivery model, and the HR function is key to the success of these initiatives
The HR Business Consultant/Talent Management HR Business Consultant role:
This role is to provide support to the HR Business Consultant in embedding changed and new HR processes and initiatives into the business. Although the role will focus on the move of recruitment to Civil Service Resourcing and ongoing talent management and succession planning activities, there is an expectation that they will provide support across the Business Partnering team
*Define roll out strategy for succession planning and talent management processes for both HQ and geographically dispersed operational teams
*Support the embedding of Phase 1 of the migration of recruitment services to Civil Service Resourcing by continuing to support managers and working with the central Departmental Resourcing Group and CS Resourcing on processes
*Support delivery of succession planning and talent management roll out strategy
*Plan and implement strategy to ensure business readiness to enable the client to move to Phase 2 of *CS Resourcing migration with extensive use of e-recruitment system
Skills needed for the HR Business Consultant/Talent Management HR Business Consultant:
*Delivery of succession planning and talent management processes, ideally in a geographically dispersed organisation
*CIPD
*Experience of identifying and engaging with stakeholders, managing their expectations and balancing their competing needs
*Understanding of HR best practice, processes and associated legislation.
*Experience of identifying root causes of issues/problems and; able to start developing appropriate solutions;
