HR Advisor/Trainer (Organisation & Workforce Development)

My Public Sector client based in Northampton is currently looking for a HR Advisor to join them on a 6-12 month contract. The post holder will preferably have a social care workforce sector background, or strong leadership and management strategy experience. The Advisor will be supporting the Organisational & Workforce Development service plan.

Role Responsibilities:
* Work aligned to a Directorate to perform an organisational development and/or training needs analysis and to analyse, design and implement the requirements of Organisational and Workforce Development strategies and implementation plans.
* Act as an internal consultant to the aligned Directorate to identify organisational and workforce development needs in the workforce to meet required outcomes.
* Provide professional advice and expertise to managers and employees in the aligned Directorate on all aspects of Learning and Development, including Leadership and Management Development and Vocational Qualifications.
* Research appropriate options and consult with appropriate stakeholders (internal and external) to develop and deliver a Learning & Development Programme. This will include identifying Key Performance Indicators
* Design and deliver training and development courses, E-learning and other blended solutions as required. Design and deliver courses aligned to recognised occupational and qualification standards. Provide development and assessment to meet awarding organisation quality assurance requirements

Skills/Experience required:
* Have facilitated training needs analysis and consulting with people on learning and development requirements.
* Have organised and delivered training and presentations to groups.
* Have evaluated training and development initiatives.
* Have managed a small team of professional staff and other resources.
* Used E-learning/on-line learning and other blended resources for personal and people development
* Led a change or service improvement project that led to better outcomes for customers/service users
