HR ADVISOR/HR BUSINESS PARTNER BASED IN CAMBRIDGE ON AN INITIAL 3 MONTH CONTRACT.

CONTRACT LENGTH: 3 months (initially)

RATE: £250 per day

IS recruitment are looking to recruit a HR Advisor for one of our clients in the Cambridge area on an initial 3 months on a contract basis. This is a full generalist role including recruitment and selection; you will need to be a strong relationship builder, able to communicate with confidence and naturally able to build trusting relationships with people. Our client is a highly commercial, fast paced organisation where they are expected to work hard and enjoy their roles. The ideal candidate must have experience of supporting a sales function, technically strong, administratively efficient and a graduate.

Candidates will have working knowledge and understanding of HR legislation/employment law, principles, policies, and procedures and while not necessarily the subject matter expert in each HR specialty area, must be able to discuss with management basic organizational development matters and the fundamental issues of the HR functional areas (training, compensation, benefits, etc).

Reporting into the site HR Director the main purpose of the role will be to support the HR Director in delivering a pro-active and customer focused led HR function.

- Supporting the development and review of Human Resources policies and procedures in line with business needs, best practice and current and proposed employment legislation
- Support the HR Manager to manage the processes around the Human Resource element of recruitment (interviews) and to partner with their internal Talent Acquisition teams to support recruitment activities
- Build a coaching/consulting role with managers to help them deal with people and performance management issues
- Support the formal negotiation and consultation processes to ensure they operate effectively and employees can participate in decision-making
