HR ADVISOR

LOCATION - ALDERSHOT

DURATION - 4 MONTHS

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The successful candidate will have a HR generalist background and will be happy to take responsibility for developing areas for improvement and implement solutions where necessary. The focus of this role is to respond to, support and up skill managers in resolving their people management/employee relations issues.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Individually and as part of a team deliver an efficient, customer responsive case management Service, supporting managers and employees in carrying out casework relating to disciplinary, grievance, absence management, capability and other performance management and learning and development interventions and evaluations, in order to support the delivery of the HR Statement of Work and associated SLAs.
- Provide customer focused, comprehensive and pragmatic people management advice and support to managers, employees and business partners in line with organisational policies, procedures and legal requirements.
- Manage workforce casework, ensuring the organisation complies with employment law and makes appropriate recommendations where there is found to be any conflict or doubt.
- Provide a first class, high quality, professional HR service in the delivery of the HR calendar activities, ensuring principles, timelines and parameters are set to deliver a consistent approach across the business. These include performance management, employee engagement, promotions, pay review and bonus, talent management and succession planning.
- Take ownership for identifying areas for self development, maintaining a professional understanding of the changing legislative environment to ensure that policies and processes are reviewed and updated in time for changes, continually improving and developing the knowledge data.
- Build and maintain collaborative and professional partnership links with HR colleagues, managers and other key stakeholders to deliver solutions to identified business relevant issues and problems.
