Projektbeschreibung

To provide high quality, outcome focused, professional and effective HR advice in accordance with policies and procedures, good practice, employment legislations and the needs of the customer.

To deliver bespoke and corporate HR projects in accordance with HR service and DCC objectives and priorities.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES

To Whom: HR Team Leader

For Whom: HR Advisors may be allocated supervisory responsibility for individual Assistant HR Advisors and/or HR Administrators from time to time. HR Supervisors will be responsible for HR Advisors, Assistant HR Advisors and HR Assistants.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

- AT GRADE 8
-Provide high quality, professional, outcome focused HR advice, guidance and coaching to managers across all areas of people management and change.

This includes but is not limited to:

- all aspects of organisational change (design, consultation, TUPE, voluntary/compulsory redundancy and redeployment)
- project work
- employee relations
- casework (performance, redeployment, attendance, grievance and discipline)
- policy development and implementation
- resourcing, including senior management recruitment and selection
- workforce development planning ensuring greater integration of reskilling strategies
- training and learning
- Develop effective and collaborative working relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Develop an excellent understanding of customers' business objectives so that the most effective advice and support can be provided.
-Manage, engage in and contribute to a range of HR projects as they are identified, including reorganisations.
-Ensure that your continuous professional development is maintained.
- Contribute to the development and effective running of the team by identifying improvements in practice, process and communication where necessary.
- Role model the behaviours, values and attitudes required by the HR service and Derby City Council.
- To contribute to the development and application of the standards and processes in the team to ensure consistency is applied across activities.
-Any other duties commensurate with the post grade.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES AT GRADE 10

-Manage a team of HR Advisors, Assistant HR Advisors and HR Assistants, role, modelling the behaviours, values and attitudes required by the HR service and Derby City Council, setting and promoting service standards, performance management and consistency of service to customers.
-Deputise for the team leader as required.
-Undertake complex work packages including complex project, transformation and casework.
