HR ADVISOR

A HR Advisor with strong administration skills is required to work on a 12 month contract, with the possibility of extension for our Insurance client based in Northampton, Northamptonshire.

OVERVIEW OF THE HR ADVISOR CONTRACT ROLE

The main areas of responsibility will be:- - Maintain and ensure database and HR file records are updated regularly scanning to electronic and ensuring personnel paper files are updated at all times and producing HR reports as required.
- Production of administrative documentation from the HR department, including offer and leaver letters, changes, references, mail merges and general HR letter correspondence etc.
- Assists the HR Business Partners in the administrative implementation of all HR activity in relocation of ex-pats, projects, employee records, case notes, annual reviews, presentations, training materials, harmonisations etc. Provide note-taking facilities at employee relations meetings.
- Manage all aspects of the administration around recruitment for contractors and permanent employees, in conjunction with the HRBPs.
- Recording and monitoring of all absence; analyse sickness and alert HRBPs on high risk cases.
- Manage and improve all aspects of the on-boarding process, including inductions, updating the HR Database and payroll.
- Act as the first point of contact for contractor queries. Manage all aspects of the vetting process from point of receipt of vetting form.
- Manage all aspects of the leaver process ensuring the HR database is fully updated, exit interviews are conducted, and leaver files are archived.
- Manage all aspects of training administration.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE HR ADVISOR ROLE

- HR background would be highly advantageous - ideally working towards or having completed the CPP qualification or equivalent as a minimum
- Previous experience of working in a fast paced high pressure environment
- Excellent Microsoft skills - especially Excel
- Strong planning and organisation skills
- Ability to use initiative and take personal ownership

The role is based in Northampton this is commutable from Luton, Milton Keynes, Bedford and London.
