My client is looking for a HR Advisor on an initial 3 month contract based in Central London in the Financial, Data and Media Services Industry. Rate: GBP 200/225 per day Ltd.

Responsibilities of the role include:

Work with line managers and HR Business Partners (HRBP) to manage medium risk HR issues with minimum support.

Work with the relevant HRBPs to ensure effective and aligned delivery of operational HR services.

Developing effective relationships with Senior Managers in designated client groups and proactively seek opportunities to provide HR advice and support.

Employee Relations experience.

Facilitate ER meetings (including issues on performance, sickness absence, disciplinary and grievance).

Ensure HRBPs are aware of any trends and potential employee issues which have been identified within HR Services Team.

Research and where required, seek expert guidance through the escalation route from Senior HR colleagues and HR specialists to provide advice and guidance on more complex queries.

Provide project management support to HRBPs within specified client group with project work relating to HR programmes such as employee engagement, performance and talent management, workforce planning, compensation planning, organization development, reward and recognition and the introduction of new processes/technology.

Use initiative and professional judgment and know when to escalate through escalation route.

Develops strong relationships with stakeholders and customers.

Act as a senior member of the HR Services team by providing guidance, support and training to other team members.

Actively participating and highlight improvements to current processes and procedures.

Takes ownership of work and responds to all requests in accordance with agreed service levels.

Suitable candidates will be able to demonstrate the following skills:

Experience as an HR generalist.

Preferably experience in an HR shared service or busy, customer service environment.

Experience of Employee Relations

Has operated in a demanding, Matrix and fast paced environment.

May have or be studying for an appropriate HR qualification such as CIPD.

A good understanding of HR practices and employment legislation, and the ability to translate this into practical solutions.

Strong Microsoft skills and experience of HR Systems.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills all levels of the organisation, adopting a style according to the situation and audience.

Effective problem solving skills.

Customer service mindset.

Is a team player, including with virtual teams, and doesn't work in isolation from colleagues.

Shows initiative to take on challenges undirected.
