Currently recruiting for a HR Advisor to join a leading organisation based in Warrington. This will be an integral role within the HR Shared Services model as you will provide a 1st line HR service to the business.

This is offered as a fixed term contract for 9 months and requires an immediate start.

The role:-

The key responsibilities of the HR Advisor are to provide telephone advice, guidance and support to line managers and employees on all HR related matters including employee relations, payroll and benefits.

Main Responsibilities:-

-Act as first point of contact for all employee and manager HR queries via telephone, case

management tool and email, providing quality advice to provide first time resolution to queries
wherever possible, whilst focusing on quickly establishing relationships whilst delivering a
professional, customer centric service at all times.
-Educate and empower line managers to resolve queries without the need for HR intervention in

future where appropriate.
-Coaching line managers on resolving people queries.

You will have:-

-Experience of working in a fast paced, commercially minded HR team, ideally within a shared

service HR function and dealing with the support requirements of managers, employees and
stakeholders.
-Demonstrable experience of dealing with a high case load with a variety of employee relations

issues and payroll queries within a busy operating environment.
-Strong Microsoft packages and IT skills.
-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal along with the ability to display a good level

of professional credibility and positive customer service approaches. Ability to solve problems is
essential in relation to all issues.

To be suitable for this role you will:-

-Be CIPD part/fully qualified
-Experience as a HR Advisor working within a high volume shared services

team with a good knowledge of current employment legislation
-Experienced in or understanding of HR, Reward, Benefits and Payroll and associated systems- ideally Northgate Resourcelink and associated administration.
-Ability to work effectively in a multi-team environment, balancing the requirements of the

customer and the team.

Business expertise:-

- Proven track record in a fast-paced changing environment
- Demonstrable experience of dealing with a wide range of stakeholders and able to build effective

working relationships at all levels.
- Ability to provide commercial solutions to people challenges faced by the business.
