HPC Grid Support - 3 Months + Extensions - Warsaw, Poland

Next Ventures are currently hiring for a HPC Grid Support Consultant to join a 3 month + extensions project in Warsaw, Poland.

Duration - 3 months + extensions

Location - Warsaw, Poland

Rate - Negotiable

Language - English

Required Skills:
- 3+ years experience in system design process
- 5+ years C++/C
- 5+ years with Unix & Linux and Scripting

Plus:
- 2+ years COM/C##
- Troubleshooting HPC hardware failures: memory, hard drives, motherboards, TCP/IP Networking
- Working with storage/RAID systems, network files systems, parallel file systems
- Hands-on experiences with script programming, Java programming.
- Strong working knowledge of Platform Computing Middleware suite (Symphony, LSF)
- 3+ Experience providing support in an enterprise High Performance Compute (HPC) environment (10,000 + cores)
- Considerable knowledge of principles of computing, communications networks, and characteristics of computing hardware and software used in grid and distributed environments.

Plus:
- Experience working for Financial Institution in supporting Front Office and/or quantitative groups
