HP-UX Principle Consultant - Dublin, Ireland - 1 Month Contract

My client, a leading, global Managed Services Provider and Cisco Gold Partner, are looking for a Principle Consultant to redevelop a clients' core business copy scripts.  Looking for a Senior Consultant and Data Protection specialist who has Enterprise Storage, Unix and Data Protection project exposure. Needs exposure in technical account management, with the successful responsibility for the successful delivery of IT infrastructure, applications and professional services.  Self-motivation, disciplined, willing and able to accept responsibility, a good team worker and leader, equally confident working on own initiative or leading teams towards the successful delivery of complex Infrastructures a must.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- 15 years + IT experience required from both technical/management positions.  Needs to have had responsibility for the design, implementation and project management of complex, highly available, mission-critical UNIX script development; development and testing; finalise development and handover to the Customer for UAT by end

REQUIREMENTS:

- HP Openview/Omni Back/Data Protector Accredited
- High end, enterprise-class SAN design and implementation skills, particularly on the HP EVA product set
- HPUX Certified Engineer
- Brocade and Cisco Switching
- NetApp accredited, Tru64 Unix O/S Certified, HP/Compaq San, SCO ACE Certified
- HP Openview/Omni Back/Data Protector Accredited
- High end, enterprise-class SAN design and implementation skills, particularly on the HP EVA product set
- Previous working exposure to: HPUX, HP Data protector and enterprise storage, HPUX Scripting, HP Business Copy Snapshotting
- Qualified in HP and other UNIX Flavours, infrastructure, architecture knowledge.
