HP service manager needed for 3-6 month contract working through a Global IT Consultancy. The ideal candidate should be able to implement and support HP Service Manager (SM). Experience in reporting knowledge in HP Service Manager (Crystal Reports, Decision Center, Westbury Reports) is needed. Candidates must possess good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design, installation configuration, integration and tuning of HP Service Management suite of products
* Reporting knowledge in HP Service Manager (Crystal Reports, Decision Center, Westbury Reports)
* Hands-on experience in migration from other products like Bridge Clarify to HP SM
* Provide Technical guidance and work with Project Manager to plan and execute the Project
* Strong understanding of the HP Service Manager framework and Architecture
* Co-ordinate with Offshore team on a daily basis to understand issues and address technical issues.
* Extensive working knowledge on projects to implement service management and application monitoring environments using Scripting/programming languages and HP EMS template/rule-set development
* Installation, Maintenance and Upgrade of HP Service Manager on UNIX and Windows environments
* Create daily, weekly, monthly periodic reports as per business requirements using Oracle Business Intelligence.
* Extensive debugging skills to narrow down issues and provide fixes with minimum turn around
* Report any SLA violations
* Train Team members of Service Management on supporting HP Service Manager.

Required Skills

* Advanced know-how in version migration of HP Service Manager
* Very good experience of advanced workflow Design, Develop & implementation in HP Service Manager
* Advanced skills in Service Manager core architecture
* Ability to code in HP Service Manager coding methodologies as well as Javascript
* Advanced know-how in Service Manager web Services
* Advanced knowledge on HP uCMDB, SRC (Service Request Catalog), HP Release Control interfaces
* Conceptual knowledge of Oracle & RAC
* Conceptual knowledge Windows Servers & cluster
* Knowledge of High Availability configuration in Horizontal and Vertical Scaling model
* Must be very strong on Infrastructure Domain concepts
* Extensive knowledge of ITIL Framework and BCP, ITIL Foundation Certification is Mandatory.
* Working knowledge of Windows and UNIX operating systems
* Integrations with Notification Engines such as Exchange Servers, SMS integrations
* DDE Knowledge in HP Service Manager
