Home Health RN

One of our major clients in the Akron/Canton area is currently seeking a Home Health RN. This is a full time(40 hours) long term contract position that would entail M-FR 8a-5:00pm business hours in a home care setting. No on-call expectations. SUMMARY:

Provides direct patient care in accordance with policies and specified procedures and evaluation of patient. Will care for patients with acute infections, chronic immune suppressed patients and patients on chemotherapy. Average of 5 visits per day. Must be willing to travel within 2 county service area.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

- Must have a high level of Med/Surg nursing skills.
- Must have minimum of 2 years of recent Home Health experience
- Must demonstrate and provide comprehensive documentation of services rendered.
- Must have proficiency in the performance of procedures and equipment.
- Must have experience with PICC line maintenance and Port access and de-access
- Must have solid wound care experience with wound vac application.
- Must have strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Valid Ohio RN License
