Health & Social Care Commissioning Manager, Commissioning Manager, Public Health Services, Contract, East London

Due to internal movement within the company my Local Authorities client is seeking an experienced Health and Social Care Commissioning manager for an initial 3 Month contract to work from their offices based in East London.

You will undertake service design, project management and the delivery of a portfolio of public health and other specific social care services. This will involve managing a small team responsible for this work and taking forward a major re-commissioning programme for sexual health and substance misuse services.

To succeed, you will need experience of social care or health related services commissioning including a track record of:

- Taking responsibility for the commissioning of public health service areas and line management of staff
-Proven project management of re-commissioning and remodelling health and social care services
- Expertise and commissioning specialism in health or social care
- Working with independent, voluntary and community sector organisations
- Experience of contract managing health and/or social care service contracts Involving service users in commissioning and service design
