HEALTH CARE RECRUITER

CONTRACT: 5 months (W2)

LOCATION: Novato, CA

STAGE OF PROJECT: Recruiting for old and new RN positions (and other job categories as needed)

TRAVEL: Travel between Santa Rosa and San Rafael Hospitals once or twice a week; no reimbursement

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

- Sources, attracts and screens new employees for nonexempt and exempt positions
- Maintains and seeks valuable sourcing contacts in the industry including college recruiting, technical schools, job fairs, and affirmative action programs
- Conducts reference checks
- May coordinate examinations, travel, and reporting dates

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field OR 4 years' experience in a directly related field (plus the experience below)
- 5 years' recruitment experience; recruiting for health care positions
- Full life cycle recruitment experience
- Experience meeting with internal and external clients
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation
- Ability to prioritize tasks and successfully handle simultaneous tasks
- Demonstrated counseling ability
- Ability to quickly build relationships and establish trust with leaders, hiring managers, colleagues, and candidates
- Broad general knowledge of HR concepts, and processes and their interdependencies
- Demonstrate networking capabilities and creativity in sourcing candidates
- Demonstrated knowledge of recruitment processes (candidate sourcing, resume evaluation, candidate assessment and interview, and matching position to best candidate background)
- Demonstrated knowledge of governmental regulations, court decisions and professional standards and practices related to EEO/AA, legalities and ethics of recruitment, and job analysis
- Strong customer focus required
- Demonstrated critical thinking, flexibility and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated coordination, organization and project management skills
- Demonstrated computer literacy
- Demonstrated understanding of branding and image

HEALTH SCREEN REQUIRED AS PART OF THE ON-BOARDING PROCESS
