HEALTH CARE RECRUITER

CONTRACT: 5 months (W2)

LOCATION: San Bruno, CA 94066

CLIENT: One of the country's largest health care and health plan providers

PURPOSE OF POSITION: Recruiter for open RN and other job categories as needed

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Responsible for delivering effective, proactive and responsive recruitment/workforce management consultative services (to include workforce planning, career services, retention strategies, recruitment and diversity) to hiring managers, which result in the best match, of the most qualified candidates for assigned specialty positions (licensed technical/professional, management/exempt, business/finance). Performs critical role in delivery, education and compliance for organization wide in placement and retention.
- Supports delivery of talent management strategies that facilitate opportunities for growth and development. Works in collaboration with the workforce planning consultant to building effective workforce management strategies that ensure a qualified, ready candidate pool. May be assigned team-leading responsibility in a specific geographic area. Typically work focuses on a specific service line at the sub-regional/regional level (across broad geographic areas).
- Responsible for supervision of Recruitment Coordinator II supporting service line.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:

- Bachelor's degree (preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field)
- Minimum 5 years of Healthcare Recruiting experience required
- Demonstrate counseling ability
- Demonstrate consultative skills
- Demonstrate executive presence with leadership ability
- Able to quickly build relationships and establish trust with leaders, hiring managers, colleagues and candidates
- Broad general knowledge of HR concepts, and processes and their interdependencies
- Demonstrate networking capabilities and creativity in sourcing candidates
- Demonstrated knowledge of recruitment processes (candidate sourcing, resume evaluation, candidate assessment and interview, and matching position to best candidate background)
- Demonstrated knowledge of governmental regulations, court decisions and professional standards and practices related to EEO/AA, legalities and ethics of recruitment, and job analysis
- Excels in oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
- Able to interact with multiple levels of staff to effect change
- Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with team members
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to meet the demands of the diverse and changing needs of the assigned specialty areas
- Strong customer focus
- Demonstrated critical thinking, flexibility and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated coordination, organization and project management skills
- Demonstrated computer literacy
