Health and Safety Team Leader - 6 Months

HEALTH AND SAFETY TEAM LEADER - 6 MONTHS

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Health and Safety Team Leader for a 6 months contract based in Ayr.

You will be required to manage a team of Health and Safety Advisers and provide advice, support and assistance to all services within the organisation.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS - -

Qualification in a relevant discipline eg NEBOSH National Diploma or equivalent

Substantial experience of providing occupational Health and Safety advice at a corporate level (eg C Exec/MD, Senior Managers)
-

Track record of delivering customer focussed Health and Safety services to detailed timetables and specific deadlines
-

Providing occupational Health and Safety advice in a multi-disciplinary setting
-

Dealing with enforcement agencies eg HSE, Fire & Rescue Service etc.

Ability to motivate and drive a team to succeed

Leading strategies to reduce the incidence of work-related injuries & ill-health

Managing corporate Health and Safety management information systems

Designing & delivering Health and Safety training & learning materials

Experience in the use of Microsoft office packages

Knowledge of quality models, eg PSIF, EFQM, IiP
