Health and Safety Manager

Scope of responsibilities:
Ensure MSI compliance with all relevant EHS regulation. (eg but not limited to Act (No. 62 of 2005) respecting working environment, working hours and employment protection, etc. (Working Environment Act) (Lov om arbeidsmiljø, arbeidstid og stillingsvern mv. (arbeidsmiljøloven, National Insurance Act (No. 19 of 1997) and related Ordinances eg Occupational Health Service Ordinance (No. 1173 of 2009).- Ordinance (No. 1357 of 2011) concerning the performance of work, use of work equipment and associated technical requirements (Ordinance on the performance of work)., Ordinance (No. 1356 of 2011) concerning the design and facilities of workplaces and work premises (Workplace Ordinance)..
Ensure all relevant permits are identified and maintained

Support MSI project team with professional EHS expertise:
o Advise on safe practices.
o Train relevant functions (field service, site requisition, installation) on relevant EHS matters: (eg SJA, hazard communication,
o Organize 3rd party EHS training (1st aid, Working at heigts etc)
o Support selection of PPE
o Approve Safety devices on request
Lead any EHS related incident/accident. Document incident and potential corrective actions as per the local and if applicable global MSI standards and tools (eg ARIA)
Be functional participant in project crisis management team. In case of a crisis 24/7 support may be required
Own existing management system.
o Maintain EHS Activity plan and agree with customer. Update procedures as required (eg communication plan)
o Review and revise Risk assessments as appropriate, add min 2 more key activities as per rolling Risk assessment
Audit all main contractors 1ce a quarter (construction site)
Work with procurement to approve new contractors
