Health & Safety Practitioner/Health and Safety Expert wanted

Skills needed: National Examination Board for Safety & Health (NEBOSH) General Certificate, risk assessments, Health & Safety Practitioner/Health and Safety Expert experience.

My Newport (South Wales) based client is looking for a Health & Safety Practitioner/Health and Safety Expert for a 4 month contract.

The Health & Safety Practitioner/Health and Safety Expert will conduct risk assessments, promote a positive H&S culture and enable the client to ensure the safety, health and welfare of all persons on site

Skills needed for the Health & Safety Practitioner/Health and Safety Expert:
*National Examination Board for Safety & Health (NEBOSH) General Certificate
*Proven experience in conducting H&S risk assessments on a variety of issues from traditional office-based activities (eg staff working with DSE) to staff working in specialist areas (eg reprographics) to external environments (eg on-site car-parks)
*Previous experience in investigating accidents & incidents and completing relevant documentation (eg investigative checklists RIDDOR reports)
*Accustomed to working without direct on-site supervision - ie evaluating situations and making decisions to alleviate H we welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
