Health and Safety Engineer

Our client is an International Renewable Energy organisation that focuses on offshore wind energy in the European waters; they are currently requiring two HSE individuals on a Foundation Installation vessel.

This role will be on a rotation basis of 4 weeks on: 4 weeks off.
The working week is 7 days per week, 12 hours per working day.

The client is looking for 1 HSE Consultant to start the project immediately; the other HSE Consultant will start the offshore rotation 4 weeks after. These two individuals will function as each other's back to back and can confirm/decide frequency between them as they will work autonomously.

Duties:

Participate in daily vessel construction meetings
DPR (daily progress reporting)
Carry out HSE audits and inspections of contractors
Ensure contractors adhere to safety rules
Perform daily Toolbox talks
Carry out HSE reviews on the vessel
Follow up on Accidents and Incidents (Accident investigation including taking witness statements and follow up of actions.)
Daily management/supervision of offshore activities.
Ensuring that the site adheres to safety rules and regulations in corporation with HSE Manager.
Ensuring that Contractors adhere to own HSE requirements
