Health and Safety and Fire Safety Advisor

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HEALTH AND SAFETY AND FIRE SAFETY ADVISOR for a 12 MONTHS contract based in EDINBURGH.

You will be required to evaluate and analyse the Health and Safety and Fire Safety structure for the organisation and liaise with senior management.

SKILLS REQUIRED - - A range of experience of Health and Safety and Fire Safety Organisation matters for compliance with current legislation and legal requirements.
- Experience in working to tight timescale
- Experience of communicating complex information to Senior Management Teams
- Experience in the analysis and evaluation of Health and Safety and Fire Safety operations and staffing structures in a complex business environment
- Experience of training requirements for Health and Safety and Fire Safety staff.
- Experience of reporting systems and processes for effective compliance of Health and Safety and Fire Safety by leading edge organisations
- Sound knowledge of Health and Safety and Fire Safety Systems and processes.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety and Fire Safety legislation.
- Membership of professional Health and Safety body (ie Chartered Membership of IOSH.)
- Sound knowledge of staffing, organisation, structures and remuneration packages for effective Health and Safety and Fire Safety management.
- Able to work with a number of different skill areas eg Custodial, Policy, Operational business areas, Industrial Activity and Third Party Suppliers
- Analysis and interpretation of complex organisational processes.
- Delivery of Change Management
