Head of Marketing and Communications - Kent - 6 month contract

An experienced Head of Marketing and Communications is required for an initial six month contract based in Kent.

The Head of Marketing and Communications will take the lead in the development and implementation of an effective communications strategy (internal and external). Working closely with board level and senior executives and providing management of the Communications team you will create creative, efficient and effective communications and marketing to ensure that the needs of the organisation are met.

To be considered for this exciting opportunity to create an immediate and lasting communications and marketing strategy for a NHS organisation the ideal candidate will offer the following skills/experience:

- A proven track record of effective communications and media handling.
- Management of con-current complex projects.
- Experience in the production of corporate reports and publications such as news releases and articles.
- Successfully developed and implemented corporate communications and marketing strategies.
- Experience in a range of communications; social media, print, digital, media.
- Specialist knowledge of journalism, marketing and communication.
- NHS/Healthcare industry experience would be highly beneficial, but not necessary.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Communications and Marketing professional to take on a challenging position and really make your mark. Initially a six month contract their is the potential to extend further.
