Head of Market Analysis, Commodities Consulting Our client, a multinational leading management consultancy within the energy and commodities space is seeking a Head of Market Analysis for their team based in London. This company have developed a strong reputation within the oil and gas industry completing thousands of assignments in over 80 countries worldwide with a client focus ranging from the Oil and Gas Majors through to Investment Banks other Financial Institutions. The Role Specialising within the Oil and Gas sector you will lead significant teams who produce fundamental market research, analysis and insight. The London has a focus on the global market producing analysis for the EMEA, MENA and the Americas. The analysis teams produce economic and econometric analytics looking further into supply, demand characteristics of the oil and gas industry and use complex models to forecasts short, medium and long term impacts on the industry. Whilst producing this fundamental analysis, other members of the team will engage in strategic consulting assignments which you will head and report into the leading members of the company and board. The Person - Strong 1st Class or 2.1 degree from a Top Tier University is ideal. - A degree in Economics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Engineering or another numerate degree is ESSENTIAL. - Significant experience managing teams within the Oil & Gas Industry, Management Consultancy, or other relevant financial institution. - A strong understanding of the Oil / Gas industries from a fundamental analytical viewpoint / strategic basis. - Experience in understanding modelling and forecasting is ideal. - Strong Excel ability. - Strong analytical and problem solving skills. - Strong communication skills and an ability to develop relationships, build teams and relationships with internal staff and external clients.
